Protect your eye health this summer and all year long

July is UV safety awareness month. However, it’s important to remember that your eyes are at risk to UV rays all year. Studies show that long-term exposure to bright sunlight in any season can be harmful to your eye health.


In support of UV Safety Awareness, we encourage you to focus on eye protection when you are out soaking up the sun this summer by:

  • Wearing UV blocking sunglasses
  • Doubling up with a wide-brimmed hat
  • Talking to your doctor about the best UV blocking contact lenses
  • Keeping in mind that the sun is usually strongest in the morning and afternoon

Create an account:

  1. Visit vsp.com or the MyVSP mobile app
  2. Click CREATE AN ACCOUNT
  3. Enter the last 4 digits of the primary member’s SSN
  4. Continue to complete all the required fields
  5. Click CREATE MY ACCOUNT to complete the process

You will receive an email with an activation code to finish registration. You must complete this step within 24 hours after account creation to access your benefits, account information, and special offers.
