SchoolCare's Well-Being Recharge highlights programs available to support you in meeting health goals and guidance on how all SchoolCare subscribers and covered partners/spouses can use the Good For You! Well-Being Program for wholistic wellness and earn your max $600 in cash incentives. A healthy diet and regular exercise are two key components to lowering your risk of illness or disease. These, along with getting enough sleep, keeping your mental health in check and lowering stress, build a strong foundation for a healthy body and immune system. Well-Being Program offers opportunities to earn cash incentives for making health improvements or maintaining an already healthy lifestyle.

Introducing Omada Complete

SchoolCare is excited to offer an expansion of the Omada program, which provides virtual health support programs for people who want to manage diabetes, lower blood pressure or manage weight.

SchoolCare has offered Omada’s diabetes and hypertension prevention program since 2019, and this expansion extends support to participants already diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure. With Omada, members get a dedicated virtual team of real people and a personalized health plan to help them feel better long-term.

Omada includes:

  • A welcome kit with smart devices to help monitor progress and show results; they're yours to keep
  • Support from a certified Omada coach and specialist who offers personalized guidance about nutrition, exercise and self-care
  • Access to Omada’s online peer communities to share successes

Omada’s program uses a science-based approach to help participants manage and even reduce dependency on certain medications, provides one-on-one support, education, diet and exercise tracking through its app, and helps you build healthy routines to fit into your lifestyle.

SchoolCare /Cigna participants and covered dependents ages 18+ are eligible to receive the program at no additional cost if at risk for type 2 diabetes or heart disease or living with diabetes or high blood pressure, and are accepted into the program.

Find balance with a healthy diet and exercise with free coaching

Online Health Coaching

Online health coaching is a completely digital program you can access via the myCigna portal under the “Wellness” tab. It contains virtual programs from 4-12 weeks in length that help guide you and track your progress toward a health goal like balancing your diet, losing weight, enjoying exercise or quitting smoking. The full list of programs and more information is available here. For each program you complete, you can earn a $50 well-being incentive, up to $250 per year.

Telephonic Health Coaching

If you’d benefit more from personal one-on-one support, Cigna has trained health coaches standing by to support you in setting and achieving personal health goals as well as in taking steps to improve chronic health condition. Your coach will provide personalized, goal-driven support to help you achieve wellness, not just for your physical health, but emotionally and financially, too. You can earn up to $350 a year for making progress toward and completing your goals.

To get started with online or telephonic health coaching, login to myCigna.com, and under the “Wellness” tab, select “Health Coaching” and click “Let’s Go” under the program of your choice.

Make time for yourself and earn incentives with self-reported healthy events

No matter where in your health journey you are, you can earn well-being incentives simply for reporting the healthy activities you are doing in your everyday life.

  • Take a minute or two to login to your myCigna account and report your quarterly healthy events (up to four per quarter) that you’ve either newly incorporated into your life, or that you’ve been doing for years
  • These run the gamut of activities that contribute to your physical, social, emotional or financial wellness - whether you recently conquered a healthy eating goal you set for yourself, ran a road race, completed a financial wellness class, participated in a volunteer activity, or started a new mindfulness activity and more
  • Earn up to $100 per quarter for taking care of yourself and gain some awesome health benefits as a result of your actions
