Coming for 2025-26: Good For You! Well-Being Program Enhancements

SchoolCare’s Good For You! Well-Being Program is getting a refresh for the 2025-26 plan year. Cigna has partnered with Personify Health to deliver a more personalized wellness experience for all SchoolCare/Cigna subscribers and spouses. Participants can continue to earn up to $600 per year in wellness incentives, with familiar features plus new ways to support and reward your healthy habits.

Who is eligible?

  • All SchoolCare/Cigna subscribers and their covered partners/spouses are eligible to earn up to $600 each in wellness cash. 
  • NEW: Adult dependent children (18+) may participate in the wellness program, but are not eligible to earn wellness cash. 

Accessing the Good For You! Well-Being Program

Log in to your myCigna portal or the myCigna app.

  • On desktop: Click "Wellness and Incentives" under the "Wellness" tab
  • On mobile: Tap the "Wellness" button on your main screen

NEW: You will need to create a username and password to login to the new well-being program the first time you use it. This means, after you sign into your myCigna account and click on "Wellness and Incentives," you will be asked to create a one-time login to the new program. After that, when you sign into myCigna and click on "Wellness and Incentives," you will be automatically connected to the new well-being experience. 


Wellness-MenuThe Health Assessment

To earn wellness cash, you must complete your confidential, online Health Assessment annually. Biometric data is optional, but we recommend providing your numbers if you have them as it provides better personalized health recommendations.

NEW: The health assessment is part of the new well-being program platform and will not be available to complete for the 2025-26 plan year until your myCigna portal is updated on July 1.

It's important to note that in past years, the health assessment opened on June 1 for coming plan year. If you complete the current version of the health assessment in the month of June, it will not be applied to the new plan year and you will need to take the new assessment on or after July 1 to earn your wellness cash.

*If you are a subscriber on the Yellow Plan With Choice Fund, complete your health assessment on or as soon after July 1st as possible as it can take up to two weeks for your Health Reimbursement Account to load. More information to come.


Wellness-ExperienceIncentive Opportunities

You can still earn rewards for:

  • Preventive Care (Annual physicals, OB-GYN exams, flu shots, certain cancer screenings, routine eye and dental exams)
  • Biometric Screenings
  • Self-Reported Healthy Events
  • Omada for Prevention
  • Telephonic Health Coaching
  • Case Management
  • Healthy Pregnancies, Healthy Babies

Some of those incentive award values will change as part of new program and Online Health Coaching will be replaced by "Journeys", a new digital coaching option.

NEW: There are several new options available for you to customize your health and wellness journey, including:

  • Device/App Connection: Connect any device, app or tracker that connects to Apple Health or Google Fit and automatically earn cash for trackable events like steps, active minutes and sleep
  • Daily Cards: Every day you’ll get two new tips to help you live well, with topics in the areas that interest you the most 
  • Healthy Habits: Choose bite-sized ways to build a healthy routine and improve your wellness
  • Well-Being Challenges: Rally your coworkers for the latest challenge! Or gather a small group of coworkers/friends to start a new healthy habit challenge
  • Journeys: Digital health coaching programs help you make simple changes to your health, one small step at a time

Wellness-storeYour Wellness Cash

NEW: All participants who engage in the well-being program will receive their wellness cash as it is earned. It will be distributed to you electronically in within a new Wellness Store.

  • Convert your wellness cash to gift cards for your favorite stores OR a Visa gift card to use wherever you'd like.
  • Use it to shop discounted prices on hundreds of items across 50 brands included in the Wellness Store, or
  • You can convert your wellness cash to a charitable donation within the Wellness Store

With this new disbursement process:

  • You can spend your cash when you wish (no more waiting for the end of a quarter)
  • Unspent wellness cash will rollover to the next plan year
  • Should you disenroll from SchoolCare/Cigna medical insurance for any reason, you will have 30 days to cash out your earnings.

We’ll be sharing updates in coming weeks via email, SMS, and on the SchoolCare website. All new programs will be accessible in your myCigna portal beginning July 1. 

NOTE: Cash incentives, payments, and rewards are available upon completion of the Health Assessment annually. Amounts paid to well-being program participants are taxable income. Please review with your tax consultant for more information.
